Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia Repository Deposit Licence Agreement

This document is a contract between you and Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia, which constitutes your permission to store, archive, preserve, and make your submissions ("Research Outputs ") available in the Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia Repository on the terms set out below. References to the Repository include alternate repositories designated by Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia.

Research Outcomes may include, but are not limited to, publications, conference proceedings, book chapters, monographs, theses, dissertations, various forms of research data (video recordings, spreadsheets, images etc.), presentations, and others.

1. Granting of Licence. In view of Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia ("University") preserving and communicating Research Outcomes in Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia's institutional repository ("Repository"), I hereby grant to the University:

1.1. A non-exclusive, worldwide sub-licensable, perpetual, and royalty-free licence to use and reproduce these Research Outputs in any medium or format for the purpose of archiving, preserving, and migrating the Research Outputs in the Repository; And

1.2. subject to any publication delays or agreed embargoes or access restrictions, to communicate and make available the Research Outputs in the Repository to the public under the terms of this Licence and any other licences or conditions that may be specified in the process of submitting a Repository deposit and/or that the Research Outputs may be marked or released in the Repository.


2. Depositor Warranties. I represent and warrant that:

2.1. I have full power and authority to enter into this Agreement and deposit or permit the deposit of the Research Outputs in the Repository and grant the licences in this Agreement;

2.2. The Research Outputs are original works and, to the best of my knowledge, do not infringe the intellectual property rights, including copyright, of any third party, or contain confidential information, personal data and/or restricted data;

2.3. jointly owned or third-party copyright material, i.e., the work of others, included in the Research Deliverables, is clearly identified and acknowledged, and adequate and appropriate permission has been obtained for such material to be reproduced in the Research Deliverables and made available in the Warehouse; and

2.4. the grant of the rights in this Agreement does not constitute a breach of any other agreement, publishing or otherwise, including confidentiality provisions or publication restrictions in sponsorship or collaboration agreements governing my research or work (or the agreements of parties authorizing me to grant the rights granted in this Agreement on their behalf) at the University or elsewhere.

3. University Repository Policy. I acknowledge and agree that I have read and understood the University Repository Terms of Use at https://repository.uiii.ac.id and that my Research Deposit complies with those terms. I acknowledge that the University Repository Terms of Use may be amended from time to time, and the current policy will apply to my submission.

4. Governing Law and Jurisdiction. This Agreement and all questions concerning its construction, validity, and performance under this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Indonesia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indonesia.
