UIII's REPOSITORY SERVICES
Depositor
The services received by depositor include:
- Accessing deposit services through the UIII Repository. Depositing open access research outputs, theses, dissertations, and research data into the UIII Repository.
- Uploading Primary Data and Research Outputs via UIII Academic Information System (UAIS). before being published in the repository. Submitted files (both metadata and files) must undergo quality checks. Huge or more complex Research Output files can be deposited in groups using cloud storage sharing. The Depositor is responsible for providing metadata in the required format and quality as outlined in our guidelines.
- Requesting data corrections on works published in the UIII Repository. In most cases, this requires the original work, along with new files and updated metadata.
- Requesting new communities or collections to be created within the repository.
- Implementing access restrictions on the metadata of Primary Data and Research Outputs.
- Users of the UIII Repository can request access to works under embargo.
- Requesting the withdrawal of works from the repository's public display or replacing them with newer versions.
- Attaching open data licenses and intellectual property statements to Primary Data and Research Outputs deposited in the UIII Repository.
End-user access and usage of the Research Outputs deposited in the Repository
End-users may utilize the Research Outputs available in the Repository under terms agreed upon by the Depositor, in accordance with the license or other terms underlying its publication. Primary Data and Research Outputs available to the public in the Repository are protected by copyright, and all rights reserved. To ensure compliance with licensing and good research practices, Primary Data and Research Outputs also need to be properly acknowledged, including citing the authors and providing complete bibliographic details in the suggested format.
Availability
The UIII Repository is available 24x7, excluding scheduled maintenance periods. Support service hours are from 09:00 to 16:00 during University working days. There are no scheduled routine maintenance periods; all routine maintenance is announced on the service homepage in advance.
